The short version: cherry in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a cherry mesh tank really costs in Bristol
We run cherry the same way in Bristol: same mesh tank, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cherry in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cherry bottle shipped into Bristol.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where cherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.0 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should cherry start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does cherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the cherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.0 per 10 ml liquid plus £36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
