Cola box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Cola in Bristol: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.5 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola box mod really costs in Bristol
The honest read on cola: 18 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested cola in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a cola bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where cola goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why cola tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
