Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
The honest read on dessert: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The honest read on dessert: 19 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the 30 ml shortfill you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Dessert in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested dessert in a 30 ml shortfill
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for dessert in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
