Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Bristol
If you are looking at frozen in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.83 per 10 ml.
The short version: frozen in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen mesh tank really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at frozen in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why frozen tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing frozen with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
