Grapey starter kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Grapey in Bristol: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What grapey costs in Bristol
Grapey sounds like one product. It is not: a starter kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Grapey in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: grapey in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey starter kit really costs in Bristol
We run grapey the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested grapey in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
Is grapey legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
How long does grapey in a starter kit last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
