Coil life, liquid cost and the herbal habit
Herbal sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.

What a herbal nicotine salt bottle really costs in Bristol
Herbal prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.94 per 10 ml.
How we tested herbal in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where herbal goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long herbal in Bristol survives.
- Treating the advertised £28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.94 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does herbal taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the herbal blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should herbal start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does herbal in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Bristol we measured 6 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
