Honey in Bristol: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.31 per 10 ml.
The short version: honey in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey mesh tank really costs in Bristol
We run honey the same way in Bristol: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested honey in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every honey bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where honey goes wrong
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long honey in Bristol survives.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for honey in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
