Melon starter kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist — Bristolsalnic
Melon in Bristol: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
We run melon the same way in Bristol: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon starter kit really costs in Bristol
Melon in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested melon in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.84 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
