Pear starter kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the best shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 22 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
A pear starter kit from the best options in Bristol costs about £2.58 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.58 per 10 ml.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at pear in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where pear goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why pear tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
