Ordering Nicotine Salt to Bristol: the practical version
Plain in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain in Bristol reaches the shelf in 30 ml shortfill formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: plain in Bristol works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain 30 ml shortfill really costs in Bristol
Plain prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested plain in a 30 ml shortfill
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.11 per 10 ml.
- Mixing plain with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
