Plain box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 9 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the plain habit
Plain sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
A plain box mod from the compared options in Bristol costs about £2.01 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain box mod really costs in Bristol
Plain box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Bristol survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
