Plain box mod Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Plain in Bristol: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
Plain in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plain in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain box mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at plain in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Bristol survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
