How we tested Sour 100 ml bottle here
The honest read on sour: 6 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A sour 100 ml bottle from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.77 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Bristol works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 100 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
Sour in Bristol reaches the shelf in 100 ml bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a 100 ml bottle
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 100 ml bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.77 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.77 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How much does a 100 ml bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.77 per 10 ml liquid plus £58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
