How we tested Sour pod kit here
A sour pod kit from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.63 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run sour the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour pod kit really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Nicotine Salt in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sour in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.63 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
