What the label on Sour is allowed to say
We run sour the same way in Bristol: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at sour in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Bristol
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.5 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.5 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.5 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.

Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
