Choosing a starter kit for sourcherry
If you are looking at sourcherry in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on sourcherry: 16 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sourcherry in Bristol works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Bristol
Sourcherry starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is sourcherry legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
