Choosing a cartomizer for tropical
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Tropical cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical cartomizer really costs in Bristol
Tropical cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested tropical in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.58 per 10 ml.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
