Tropical pen device Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the budget shortlist — Bristolsalnic
Tropical in Bristol: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
A tropical pen device from the budget options in Bristol costs about £2.41 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at tropical in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 7 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Bristol
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £50 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.41 per 10 ml.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Packaging for tropical in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.41 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
How long does tropical in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
