Ordering Nicotine Salt to Bristol: the practical version
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Bristol
Ordering into Bristol usually means waiting 2–4 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within £3.56 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How long does tropical in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
