Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.55 per 10 ml.
The short version: vanilla in Bristol works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla mesh tank really costs in Bristol
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.55 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for vanilla in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
