Vanilla RDA Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Vanilla in Bristol: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What vanilla costs in Bristol
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.18 per 10 ml.
Vanilla in Bristol reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: vanilla in Bristol works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla RDA really costs in Bristol
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same RDA, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

| Entry kit | £38 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £3.18 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
How long does vanilla in a RDA last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
