Vanilla in Bristol: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How we tested Vanilla squonk mod here
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
A vanilla squonk mod from the best options in Bristol costs about £3.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Bristol
We run vanilla the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised £32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.45 per 10 ml.
