Sour sub-ohm kit Nicotine Salt in Bristol: the deals shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 6 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
A sour sub-ohm kit from the discounted options in Bristol costs about £2.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy Nicotine Salt in Bristol. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
Most people searching Nicotine Salt in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested sour in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £2.03 per 10 ml liquid plus £66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does sour in a sub-ohm kit last?
In Bristol we measured 9 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
